One thing I have come to note is that the 3×3 square sum can vary depending on your first number ie, if your numbers are 10,11,12,13 14 15 16 17 and 18, they will give a magical sum across diagonal and horizontal. this will also apply to all square puzzle with odd squares.

I think it should also apply to magic squares with an even number of squares.
