Happy Fathers’ Day!!!

I created a bowtie for Fathers’ Day with just 5 expressions in Desmos Plaid, but the only way I can share it with you is to take a screenshot of it.

If you go to Desmos Plaid and type in the 5 lines above, you will get a lovely plaid bowtie, and you can change its color and plaid design, too. The second half of the first expression is {-1.18 ≥ x,1.18 ≤ x}.

How did I know how to make a tie in Desmos? I watched a YouTube video that does a nice job of explaining some of the math behind the bowtie.

If the bowtie is not viewed in Desmos Plaid, this is what it looks like:

Even if you create it in Desmos Plaid, if you share it, it won’t have plaids.

So even if things don’t turn out exactly the way you would like, I still wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there and to everyone who has a father in their life they love. ♥♥♥
